Pacific Plaza

Pacific Plaza, nestled in the heart of the Harwood Street pedestrian corridor, provides a grassy respite — a true urban neighborhood park. The park borders One Dallas Center, the Republic complex and the back of the Majestic Theatre.

Pacific Plaza broke ground in April 2018 and opened to the public in October 2019. This surface parking lot was fully transformed into a 3.74-acre neighborhood park in the heart of Downtown. Pacific Plaza is the center point of the Harwood Street Pedestrian Corridor running from Klyde Warren Park to Main Street Garden to the Farmers Market.

This park was designed by SWA’s Dallas office and features a pavilion designed by HKS, lawn space and swings that children and adults alike may enjoy. James W. Aston Park, a small pocket park located at the corner of N. Harwood Street and Pacific Avenue, has been folded into Pacific Plaza via the closure of one block of Live Oak Street. Today, this section of the park is known as Aston Grove and showcases a mature stand of live oak trees along Pacific Avenue.
