Harwood Park plans include an event lawn and stage, as well as an event venue and pavilion. Spots for outdoor dining will make it easy to stick around for mealtimes, as will the food trucks, which will have designated parking areas.
Pacific Plaza, nestled in the heart of the Harwood Street pedestrian corridor, will be the first park completed and provide a grassy respite — a true neighborhood park. The existing Aston Park will be folded into this larger development, which borders One Dallas Center, the Republic complex and the back of the Majestic Theatre.
Carpenter Park, designed by the award-winning Hargreaves Associates, will be the largest park in downtown. Technically, it’s a renovation of Carpenter Plaza — an expansion from its current size that will encompass a host of features and amenities.
West End square
West End Square will be located in the heart of the West End Historic District of Downtown Dallas, and will be a pocket park surrounded by the red brick buildings of this redefined tech-focused district. Designed by James Corner Field Operations, this one block park will add much-needed green space to a booming part of Dallas.
